PCGS Currency 2010 Set Registry Awards Dinner

PCGS Currency celebrated its third annual Set Registry Award's dinner at the Blues City Café in Memphis in conjunction with the International Paper Money Show. Unlike past years when the event was combined with the PCGS Coin Set Registry Award's dinner, this event was a stand-alone success. More than 50 attendees, including dealers, collectors, Set Registry participants, and award winners enjoyed the catered event which featured standard Memphis fare such as barbecue, catfish, and ribs in a casual yet festive atmosphere.

A short video film created especially for this event introduced the winners in each category, while trophies and award plaques were presented by Laura A. Kessler, Vice President of PCGS Currency. The video may be viewed by clicking on the images below or Youtube by clicking here.

Several award winners were present, including three Set Registry top set owners who generously displayed their winning sets at the PCGS Currency table at the Memphis show. Pictures of these sets as well as others from the evening may be view on the PCGS Currency's Facebook page or by clicking here.

The PCGS Currency Set Registry is a free competition open to any collector, where PCGS Currency-graded notes can be entered as a collection and compared against other competitors’ sets. Participants can organize and track the cost and purchase date of each note, add images of their notes, display their sets securely on the internet, and compete against others who share a passion for the hobby.  More information about the PCGS Currency Set Registry can be found on the web at www.pcgscurrency.com/setregistry, or by calling PCGS Currency customer service at (309)222-8200.
