Completing this 67-note set can be a challenging yet obtainable goal with 1976, 1995, 2003, and 2003A series issued. The Minneapolis and Kansas City Star notes from the 1976 series are keys to this set, and scarce but available for a price. Challenging aspects are the specially printed 1995 Millennium star notes from the 12 Federal Reserve district banks as 9,999 notes for each bank were printed and many having staining and cutting issues, providing scarcity in top grade notes. The specially printed star replacement notes from 12 Federal district banks for the 2003 series were also limited with a reported 16,000 notes of each district. For the 2003A series, the star replacement note from the Atlanta district with a printing of 320k is the lowest for any regular issued star note in the set. While these notes in the set are available, the difficult task is obtaining them in top grades making the competition for the highest grades rewarding.
