A short, 18-note set of the entire $5 Legal Tender non-star issues, this set is very doable for the collector. Many of the types — both 1928’s and 1953’s — are readily obtainable in uncirculated condition, although some of the earlier issues are scarcer in superb CU and higher due to poor centering. The two stoppers for this set will be the 1928D and 1928E mules.
