Series 1950E was printed for only three districts—New York, Chicago, and San Francisco—making it one of the shortest Federal Reserve Note series. The collector will find that obtaining nice uncirculated notes will get tougher as the denomination increases, especially for star notes from the smaller printed districts of Chicago and San Francisco.
