Add Inventory
To begin building a set, you must first add your currency inventory by entering the 8-digit PCGS Currency certification number. You can also scan the bar code located at the bottom of the insert to add your inventory.
Step 1. Log In.
If you are already a member of the PCGS Currency Collectors Club and/or have a login and password for any of the Collectors Universe companies, enter your email address and password. If you are registering for the first time, click the Sign up for a new account link and register.
Step 2. Go to My Set Registry.
Step 3. Click Add Inventory which appears on the right menu bar.
Step 4. To add your inventory, type the PCGS Currency certification number in the box provided. If you have more than one item, type one certification number per line. If you are working from a spreadsheet, you can copy and paste rows of certification numbers.
When you are ready, click the Add button.
Options: If you have a barcode scanner, you can add your inventory by scanning the barcode for each item.
Additionally, you can add an inventory item by using the Quick Add function which appears on the menu bar on every page in My Set Registry.
Updating sets from Add Inventory
If you have sets started, you can have the program automatically update those sets for you from the Add Inventory page. It will only replace notes if the new inventory you are adding will increase your set rating. To use this feature, check the box "Add these notes to all of your existing sets which they match or replace notes if the rating of the new note is higher." You must then go to My Sets and commit your changes.
Inventory listed in another member’s set
It is each member’s responsibility to keep his or her inventory up-to-date. However, in the event that you receive a message that your inventory item has not been added because it is residing in another member’s set, you will be provided the option to send an automatic email to that member requesting that the note be removed. If, after 3 business days, the inventory item has not been removed, please submit a scan of the front and back of the note to setregistry@pcgscurrency.com and the item will be removed for you.
